Elliot Roberts
Elliot started his career with CPC, Computer Prompting and Captioning, in 2006 and helped to develop the industry-standard CaptionMaker and MacCaption software. Foreseeing the rise in video content across all industries, he started Cinepros in 2012. He has a background in education, which has helped in many facets of subtitling and translation. When not captioning a boring government video or subtitling a commercial in eight languages, he loves to travel, backpack, hike… pretty much anything outdoors.

Marisa E. Lobos
Translator and subtitler born in Argentina. Her journey started in 2001, when she began her translation studies at UNCa Argentina. After college, she worked as an ESL teacher and freelance translator for several years, gaining experience in diverse fields such as education and the oil industry. Inspired by her passion for foreign films, she started working with subtitling, an area where she decided to focus all her energy. She later earned a diploma in Audiovisual Translation (UTN, Argentina). Since joining Cinepros, she’s been working with content from the most renowned entertainment companies and independent filmmakers. Her work has been seen on the screens of ESPN, HBO, NatGeo, Netflix, and many others. Currently, she’s responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing subtitling and translation projects in several language pairs, particularly English <> Spanish.

Guia de los Santos
Guia began her career back when she was still in college, hustling both university writing majors and translating Hollywood films for SDI Media. Over the course of her writing journey, she continued her path in multimedia arts and pursued her passion for storytelling as an advertising professional. With over 500 satisfied clients, 200 marketing campaigns & 7 years of dedicated writing experience, Guia eventually went on to become a seasoned copywriter – crafting, editing, and proofreading content for Broadcasting, Print, Social Media, and Events. During her day-off, Guia becomes this cool aunt who spoils her nieces & nephews on adventurous road trips, online games, food fest & music concerts! By doing this, Guia believes she does not only get to bond with the kids, she also gets up-to-date with trends & pop culture.

Kellen Nyamwija
Kellen is a highly skilled transcriptionist with over ten years of experience in the industry. She stepped into the world of media as a fresh graduate from Makerere University, Kampala, joining Summit Consulting Ltd, publishers of Summit Business Review, where she worked for several years on the editorial team of the local business magazine. In 2012, she turned her focus toward transcription and copyediting and has since managed thousands of projects – from short copywriting tasks to editing extensive manuscripts, as well as creating specialized transcripts for use across various industries. Kellen is a passionate bookaholic, spending most of her free time exploring the fantastic world of books over endless cups of coffee.

Victoria Carbajal
Victoria Carbajal is a millennial mom and digital marketer with over six years of professional experience helping brands reach their goals. Her career began in communication, serving as the Communication Manager for the Senate of the Republic in the Municipal Development Commission in México. Later, she worked as a Media Consultant and Political Campaign Manager for SN Politics, contributing to award-winning campaigns and events. During the pandemic, she shifted to remote work, becoming a P.R. writer for Next Net Media and later handling brand management for Bankuish, Moms On Maternity, and Valle Guadalupe Baja. Since 2022, she has freelanced as a copywriter for companies like Sahumo, MATERIA Art Studio, The Mat Mexico, and others, managing social media and developing brand content.
Project Manager - Portuguese
Julie Farias
Always passionate about languages and computing, Julie has been working as a translator and interpreter since majoring in Portuguese and English Linguistics. She’s also combined her knowledge with computing, and since 2015 has been working on linguistic projects related to translations, transcription, and subtitling. Additionally, working in project and team management and helping to train AI with big companies like Google and Meta. Her main interest lies not only in languages but she’s also tech-savvy with always an eye for the latest technologies to develop and create solutions for the audiovisual industry. Whilst living in different countries and exploring cultures around the world, enjoying nature, taking meditation and dancing classes, and always with her camera to record the best memories.
